[319] Whatever phenomena (dhammā) are associated (sampayutta) with the bodily-pleasure faculty (sukhindriya), whatever phenomena with the bodily-pain faculty (dukkhindriya), whatever phenomena with the joy faculty (somanassindriya), whatever phenomena with the grief faculty (domanassindriya) — whatever phenomena are associated with those phenomena, those phenomena are associated with three aggregates (khandha), with one sense base (āyatana), and with one element (dhātu); and they are associated with some [phenomena] of one sense base and one element.
