[395] Whatever phenomena (dhammā) are dissociated (vippayutta) from phenomena that are clingings (upādāna); whatever phenomena, from phenomena that are defilements (kilesa); whatever phenomena, from phenomena that are defiled (saṅkiliṭṭha); whatever phenomena, from phenomena associated with defilements (kilesasampayutta); whatever phenomena, from phenomena that are both defilements and subject to defilement (saṅkilesika); whatever phenomena, from phenomena that are both defilements and defiled; whatever phenomena, from phenomena that are defiled yet not defilements; whatever phenomena, from phenomena that are both defilements and associated with defilements; whatever phenomena are dissociated from phenomena that are associated with defilements yet not defilements — whatever phenomena are dissociated from those phenomena: those phenomena are dissociated from one aggregate (khandha), from ten sense bases (āyatana), and from sixteen elements (dhātu); they are dissociated from some [of the phenomena comprised in] one sense base and one element.
