[443] …with phenomena (dhammā) that are defiled (saṅkiliṭṭha) yet are not defilements (kilesa); whatever phenomena, with phenomena that are associated with defilements (kilesa-sampayutta) yet are not defilements; whatever phenomena, with phenomena accompanied by thought-conception (savitakka); whatever phenomena, with phenomena accompanied by discursive thought (savicāra); whatever phenomena, with phenomena accompanied by rapture (sappītika); whatever phenomena, with phenomena conjoined with rapture (pīti-sahagata); whatever phenomena, with phenomena conjoined with pleasure (sukha-sahagata); whatever phenomena are associated (sampayutta) with phenomena conjoined with equanimity (upekkhā-sahagata) — by how many aggregates (khandha), by how many sense bases (āyatana), by how many elements (dhātu) are those phenomena included (saṅgahita)?
Those phenomena are included by one aggregate, by one sense base, by one element. By how many are they not included? They are not included by four aggregates, by eleven sense bases, by seventeen elements.
