[1012] P.: Is it not to be said: "The person (puggala) practicing for the realization of arahatship (arahattasacchikiriyā) is endowed with the three fruitions (phala)"?
S.: Yes.
P.: But is it not so that the person practicing for the realization of arahatship has obtained the three fruitions and has not fallen away from them?
S.: Yes.
P.: If the person practicing for the realization of arahatship has obtained the three fruitions and has not fallen away from them, then indeed, good sir, it should be said: "The person practicing for the realization of arahatship is endowed with the three fruitions."
