[1039] S. For one who has entered upon the attainment of the earth-kasiṇa (paṭhavīkasiṇaṃ samāpattiṃ samāpannassa), is there knowledge (ñāṇa) in what is distorted (viparīte)?
P. Yes.
S. Could an Arahant (arahā) enter upon the attainment of the earth-kasiṇa?
P. Yes.
S. If an Arahant could enter upon the attainment of the earth-kasiṇa, then indeed, sir, it should not be said: "For one who has entered upon the attainment of the earth-kasiṇa, there is knowledge in what is distorted."
