[1063] P. Should it not be said: "Knowledge of the conventional (sammati-ñāṇa) has only truth (sacca) as its object (ārammaṇa), not something else as its object"?
S. Yes.
P. Is it not so that the water-kasiṇa (āpokasiṇa) … the fire-kasiṇa (tejokasiṇa) … for one who is giving the requisite of medicine as support for the sick (gilānapaccaya-bhesajja-parikkhāra) there is knowledge (ñāṇa), and the requisite of medicine as support for the sick is in conventional truth (sammati-sacca)?
S. Yes.
P. If for one who is giving the requisite of medicine as support for the sick there is knowledge, and the requisite of medicine as support for the sick is in conventional truth, then indeed, good sir, you should say: "Knowledge of the conventional has only truth as its object, not something else as its object."
