[1072] P. Should it not be said that knowledge (ñāṇa) of the future exists?
S. Yes.
P. But was it not said by the Blessed One: "Ānanda, there will be three dangers for Pāṭaliputta: from fire, or from water, or from the breaking of mutual concord"? Is there indeed such a discourse (suttanta)?
S. Yes.
P. Well then, knowledge of the future exists.
