[1116] P. (Paravādin): Is it not to be said that space (ākāsa) is visible (sanidassana)? S. (Sakavādin): Yes. P.: Do you not see the gap between two trees, the gap between two pillars, a keyhole, a window-opening? S.: Yes. P.: If you see the gap between two trees, the gap between two pillars, a keyhole, a window-opening, then indeed, sir, it should be said that space is visible. The Discussion "Space Is Visible" (Ākāso sanidassanoti kathā) is concluded. ____________ Discussion "The Earth Element (paṭhavī-dhātu) Is Visible," and So Forth (Paṭhavīdhātu sanidassanātyādikathā)
