[1124] [P.] Is it not to be said: "The five faculties (pañcindriyāni) are visible (sanidassana)"? [S.] Yes. [P.] But do you not see the eye (cakkhu), the ear (sota), the nose (ghāna), the tongue (jivhā), the body (kāya)? [S.] Yes. [P.] If you see the eye, the ear, the nose, the tongue, the body, then indeed, good sir, you should say: "The five faculties are visible." … The Discourse (kathā) Beginning with "The Eye-Faculty (cakkhundriya) Is Visible." ____________ Discourse on "Bodily Action (kāyakamma) Is Visible"
