[1194] [Sakavādin:] There are six destinations (gati)?
[Paravādin:] Yes.
[Sakavādin:] Is it not the case that the Kālakañjika asuras are the same as the petas in appearance, the same in enjoyments, the same in nutriment (āhāra), and the same in lifespan, and that they enter into intermarriage (āvāha-vivāha) with the petas?
[Paravādin:] Yes.
[Sakavādin:] If the Kālakañjika asuras are the same as the petas in appearance, the same in enjoyments, the same in nutriment, and the same in lifespan, and enter into intermarriage with the petas, then surely it should not be said that "there are six destinations."
