[1205] Sakavādin: Is there an intermediate existence (antarābhava)? Paravādin: Yes. Sakavādin: Is there an intermediate existence for all beings whatsoever? Paravādin: It should not be said thus. … Sakavādin: Is there no intermediate existence for all beings whatsoever? Paravādin: Yes. Sakavādin: If there is no intermediate existence for all beings whatsoever, then surely, good sir, it should not be said: "There is an intermediate existence."
