[1234] [P.] Is it not to be said: "An individual existence (attabhāva) endowed with the six sense bases (saḷāyatanika) exists in the form element (rūpadhātu)"?
[S.] Yes.
[P.] But is there not therein the sign of the nose (ghānanimitta), the sign of the tongue (jivhānimitta), and the sign of the body (kāyanimitta)?
[S.] Yes.
[P.] If therein there are the sign of the nose, the sign of the tongue, and the sign of the body, then indeed, good sir, you should say: "An individual existence endowed with the six sense bases exists in the form element."
