[1295] "For one who has attained cessation (nirodha), does the life faculty (jīvitindriya) exist?" "Yes." "If for one who has attained cessation the life faculty exists, then indeed, good sir, it should not be said: 'There is no material life faculty (rūpa-jīvitindriya).'"
