[1344] [Sakavādin:] Is a mind (citta) that has a past object (atītārammaṇa) without an object (anārammaṇa)?
[Paravādin:] Yes.
[Sakavādin:] But is there not adverting (āvajjana) … aspiration (paṇidhi) with reference to the past?
[Paravādin:] Yes.
[Sakavādin:] If there is adverting … aspiration with reference to the past, then indeed it should not be said that "a mind that has a past object is without an object."
