[1511] P. Should it not be said that a person accomplished in view (diṭṭhisampanna) has abandoned the bad destination (duggati)?
S. Yes.
P. Could a person accomplished in view be reborn in hell (niraya)? … Could he be reborn in the animal kingdom (tiracchānayoni)? … Could he be reborn in the realm of hungry ghosts (pittivisaya)?
S. It should not be said thus. …
P. Then indeed a person accomplished in view has abandoned the bad destination.
