[1520] [Paravādin:] Could a person (puggala) who has instigated [an act with] immediate [result] (anantarāpayutta) enter the fixed course of rightness (sammatta-niyāma)?
[Sakavādin:] Yes.
[Paravādin:] But was he not one who had instigated that act (kamma)?
[Sakavādin:] Yes.
[Paravādin:] If he had instigated that act, then indeed, good sir, you should not say: "A person who has instigated [an act with] immediate [result] could enter the fixed course of rightness."
