[1533] P. Should it not be said that there is lust for the disagreeable (asātarāga)?
S. Yes.
P. But was it not said by the Blessed One: "Engaged as he is thus in favoring and opposing (anurodha-virodha), whatever feeling (vedanā) he feels—whether pleasant, or painful, or neither-painful-nor-pleasant—he delights in that feeling, welcomes it, and remains holding to it"? Is there indeed such a discourse (suttanta)?
S. Yes.
P. Then indeed there is lust for the disagreeable.
