[1585] P. Should it not be said, "Lust for form (rūparāga) lies latent (anuseti) in the form element (rūpadhātu) and is included (pariyāpanna) in the form element; lust for the formless (arūparāga) lies latent in the formless element (arūpadhātu) and is included in the formless element"?
S. Yes.
P. Does not sensual lust (kāmarāga) lie latent in the sense-desire element (kāmadhātu), and is it not included in the sense-desire element?
S. Yes.
P. If sensual lust lies latent in the sense-desire element and is included in the sense-desire element, then indeed, good sir, you should say, "Lust for form lies latent in the form element and is included in the form element; lust for the formless lies latent in the formless element and is included in the formless element."
