[1688] [Paravādin:] Should it not be said: "Lust for form (rūparāga) is included in the form element (rūpadhātu); lust for the formless (arūparāga) is included in the formless element (arūpadhātu)"?
[Sakavādin:] Yes.
[Paravādin:] But is not lust for sensual pleasures (kāmarāga) included in the sense-sphere element (kāmadhātu)?
[Sakavādin:] Yes.
[Paravādin:] If lust for sensual pleasures is included in the sense-sphere element, then indeed, sir, it must be said: "Lust for form is included in the form element; lust for the formless is included in the formless element."
