[1591] Sakavādin (S.): Is a speculative view (diṭṭhigata) indeterminate (abyākata)? Paravādin (P.): Yes. S.: But was it not said by the Blessed One: "Puṇṇa, for one who holds wrong view (micchādiṭṭhi) I declare one of two destinations (gati): hell (niraya) or the animal realm (tiracchānayoni)"²—and does such a discourse (suttanta) really exist?
