[1595] [P.] Should it not be said that a view (diṭṭhigata) is unincluded (apariyāpanna)?
[S.] Yes.
[P.] Should a worldling (puthujjana) be said to be devoid of lust (vītarāga) for sensual pleasures?
[S.] Yes.
[P.] Should he be said to be devoid of views (vigatadiṭṭhi)?
[S.] It should not be said so. …
[P.] Well then, a view is unincluded.

An unwholesome root (akusalamūla) links on to a wholesome root (kusalamūla); a wholesome root links on
to an unwholesome root; the sixfold sense base (saḷāyatana); the six classes of consciousness (viññāṇakāya); noble form (ariyarūpa)
derived from the primary elements (mahābhūta); the latent tendency (anusaya) is itself that obsession (pariyuṭṭhāna);
obsession is dissociated from mind (citta); and it lies latent precisely according to the element (dhātu);
a view is indeterminate (abyākata); a view is unincluded.
