[1607] S. Is it not the case that the successively preceding wholesome phenomena (kusalā dhammā) are a condition (paccaya), by way of immediacy condition (anantara-paccaya), for the successively subsequent wholesome phenomena, and that that same [relation] is also repetition (āsevanā)? P. Yes. S. If the successively preceding wholesome phenomena are a condition, by way of immediacy condition, for the successively subsequent wholesome phenomena, and that same [relation] is also repetition, then indeed, sir, it should be said: "They are a condition by way of immediacy condition [and] a condition by way of repetition condition (āsevana-paccaya)."
