[1614] [Sakavādin:] Is there indeed the suttanta: "Bhikkhus, with consciousness (viññāṇa) as condition, name-and-form (nāmarūpa) [comes to be]; and also with name-and-form as condition, consciousness"?
[Paravādin:] Yes.
[Sakavādin:] In that case, volitional formations (saṅkhārā) [come to be] also with ignorance (avijjā) as condition, and ignorance also with volitional formations as condition; clinging (upādāna) [comes to be] also with craving (taṇhā) as condition, and craving also with clinging as condition.
