[1667] [Opponent (Paravādī):] Should it not be said that form (rūpa) has a root (sahetuka)?
[Theravādin (Sakavādī):] Yes.
[Opponent:] But does form not have a condition (sappaccaya)?
[Theravādin:] Yes.
[Opponent:] If form has a condition, then indeed, sir, for that very reason you should say that form has a root.
