[1703] [Sakavādin:] Is it only that which is bound up with the faculties (indriyabaddha) that is suffering (dukkha)?
[Paravādin:] Yes.
[Sakavādin:] Is it not so that whatever is impermanent (anicca), that the Blessed One has declared to be suffering, and that what is not bound up with the faculties is impermanent?
[Paravādin:] Yes.
[Sakavādin:] If whatever is impermanent, that the Blessed One has declared to be suffering, and what is not bound up with the faculties is impermanent, then indeed, good sir, it should not be said that "only that which is bound up with the faculties is suffering."
