[1754] "Is it not to be said that one passes from one jhāna to another?"
"Yes."
"But was it not said by the Blessed One: 'Bhikkhus, here a bhikkhu, quite secluded from sensual pleasures … enters and dwells in the fourth jhāna' — does such a discourse indeed exist?"
"Yes."
"In that case, one passes from one jhāna to another."
