[180] [S.] Is the person (puggala) apprehended in the sense of a real and ultimate fact (sacchikaṭṭha-paramaṭṭha)?
[P.] Yes.
[S.] But was it not said by the Blessed One:
"Look upon the world as empty, Mogharāja, ever mindful;
having uprooted the view of self (attānudiṭṭhi), thus one may cross beyond death.
One who looks upon the world thus the King of Death does not see"—
is there really such a discourse (suttanta)?
[P.] Yes.
[S.] Then indeed it should not be said, "The person is apprehended in the sense of a real and ultimate fact."
