[1837] "Should it not be said that an ordinary person (puthujjana) is not secluded (avivitta) from the phenomena (dhammā) pertaining to the three elements (tedhātuka)?"
"Yes."
"Has the kamma leading to the form element (rūpadhātu) and the formless element (arūpadhātu) been fully understood (pariññāta) by the ordinary person?"
"It should not be said thus. …"
"Then indeed the ordinary person is not secluded from the phenomena pertaining to the three elements."
