[1850] [P.] Is it not to be said that form (rūpa) is fixed (niyata) in the sense of form (rūpaṭṭhena) … feeling (vedanā) … perception (saññā) … volitional formations (saṅkhārā) … consciousness (viññāṇa) is fixed in the sense of consciousness?
[S.] Yes.
[P.] Is form feeling, is it perception, is it volitional formations, is it consciousness? Is feeling perception, is it volitional formations … Is consciousness form, is it feeling, is it perception, is it volitional formations?
[S.] It should not be said thus.
[P.] Then indeed form is fixed in the sense of form, feeling … perception, volitional formations … consciousness is fixed in the sense of consciousness.
