[1861] Sakavādin: Does the Arahant (arahā), established in imperturbability (āneñja), attain final Nibbāna (parinibbāyati)?
Paravādin: Yes.
S.: Is it not so that the Arahant, established in ordinary mind (pakati-citta), attains final Nibbāna?
P.: Yes.
S.: If the Arahant, established in ordinary mind, attains final Nibbāna, then indeed, good sir, it should not be said: "The Arahant, established in imperturbability, attains final Nibbāna."
