[1860] [Paravādin:] Should it not be said, "The Arahant (arahā) attains final Nibbāna (parinibbāyati) with a wholesome mind (kusala-citta)"?
[Sakavādin:] Yes.
[Paravādin:] Does not the Arahant attain final Nibbāna with mindfulness established (upaṭṭhitassati), mindful (sato) and clearly comprehending (sampajāno)?
[Sakavādin:] Yes.
[Paravādin:] If the Arahant attains final Nibbāna with mindfulness established, mindful and clearly comprehending, then indeed, sir, you should say, "The Arahant attains final Nibbāna with a wholesome mind."
