[1881] P. Should it not be said that all phenomena (dhammā) last for only a single mind-moment (ekacittakkhaṇikā)?
S. Yes.
P. Are all phenomena permanent, stable, eternal, not subject to change?
S. It should not be said so. …
P. Then indeed all phenomena last for only a single mind-moment.

There is final Nibbāna (parinibbāna) without some fetter (saññojana) having been abandoned;
the Arahant attains final Nibbāna with a wholesome mind (kusalacitta);
the Arahant attains final Nibbāna established in imperturbability (āneñja);
there is penetration of the Dhamma (dhammābhisamaya) for one lying in the womb;
there is attainment of Arahantship for one lying in the womb;
there is penetration of the Dhamma for one in a dream;
there is attainment of Arahantship for one in a dream;
all the mind (citta) of one in a dream is indeterminate (abyākata);
there is no repetition-conditionality (āsevana-paccayatā) whatsoever;
all phenomena last for only a single mind-moment.
