[1892] Sakavādin: Is there that which is not lust (rāga) but is a counterfeit of lust (rāgapaṭirūpaka)? Paravādin: Yes. Sakavādin: Is there that which is not contact (phassa) but is a counterfeit of contact? Is there that which is not feeling (vedanā) but is a counterfeit of feeling? Is there that which is not perception (saññā) but is a counterfeit of perception? Is there that which is not volition (cetanā) but is a counterfeit of volition? Is there that which is not mind (citta) but is a counterfeit of mind? Is there that which is not faith (saddhā) but is a counterfeit of faith? Is there that which is not energy (vīriya) but is a counterfeit of energy? Is there that which is not mindfulness (sati) but is a counterfeit of mindfulness? Is there that which is not concentration (samādhi) but is a counterfeit of concentration? Is there that which is not wisdom (paññā) but is a counterfeit of wisdom?
