Abhidhammapiṭaka · Kathāvatthu · Vol. 37 · Section 190

[190] "Is the person (puggala) apprehended in the sense of a real and ultimate fact (sacchikaṭṭha-paramattha)?" "Yes." "Is not the Blessed One a speaker of truth, a speaker at the right time, a speaker of what is real, a speaker of what is so, a speaker of what is not untrue, a speaker of what is not otherwise?" "Yes." "Was it said by the Blessed One: 'a pot of oil, a pot of honey, a pot of molasses, a pot of milk, a pot of water, a drinking-water bowl, a drinking-water cup, a drinking-water saucer, a permanent meal (niccabhatta), a constant gruel (dhuvayāgu)'?" "Yes." "Is there any gruel that is permanent, constant, eternal, not subject to change?" "It should not be said so." "Then indeed it should not be said: 'The person is apprehended in the sense of a real and ultimate fact.'" Abridged (saṅkhittaṃ). The Discourse on the Person (Puggalakathā) [is concluded]. The eight refutation cycles (niggaha-peyyāla); the section on transmigration (sandhāvaniya); that on derivation (upādāya); by way of mind (citta), the good as the fifth; supernormal power (iddhi); with the citation of suttas as the eighth. ____________ Parihānikathā (Discourse on Falling Away)
