[202] [Sakavādī:] "Does an Arahant (arahā) fall away from Arahantship (arahatta)?"
[Paravādī:] "Yes."
[Sakavādī:] "Does a Non-Returner (anāgāmī) fall away from the fruition of Non-Returning (anāgāmi-phala)?"
[Paravādī:] "It should not be said thus."
[Sakavādī:] "By whom have more defilements (kilesā) been abandoned — by the Arahant or by the Non-Returner?"
[Paravādī:] "By the Arahant."
[Sakavādī:] "If more defilements have been abandoned by the Arahant, and the Arahant falls away from Arahantship, then indeed, good sir, it should be said: 'The Non-Returner falls away from the fruition of Non-Returning.'"
