[370] [Sakavādin:] The Stream-Enterer's (sotāpanna) past personality-view (sakkāyadiṭṭhi) exists, and yet the Stream-Enterer is not possessed of view (sadiṭṭhika) by that view? [Paravādin:] Yes. [Sakavādin:] The ordinary person's (puthujjana) past personality-view exists, and yet the ordinary person is not possessed of view by that view? [Paravādin:] It should not be said thus. … [Sakavādin:] The Stream-Enterer's past doubt (vicikicchā) exists … [the Stream-Enterer's] past delusion (moha) leading to states of loss (apāyagamanīya) exists, and yet the Stream-Enterer is not possessed of delusion (samoha) by that delusion? [Paravādin:] Yes. [Sakavādin:] The ordinary person's past delusion leading to states of loss exists, and yet the ordinary person is not possessed of delusion by that delusion?
