The past personality-view of the worldling (puthujjana) exists, and yet the worldling is not possessed of view through that view? P. It should not be said thus. … S. The past doubt (vicikicchā) of the Once-Returner exists … [the Once-Returner's] past gross ill will (oḷārika byāpāda) exists, and yet the Once-Returner is not one whose mind (citta) is malevolent through that ill will?
