[493] [Sakavādin:] "The Arahant has unknowing (aññāṇa), yet he has no ignorance (avijjā), no flood of ignorance (avijjogha), no yoke of ignorance (avijjāyoga), no latent tendency of ignorance (avijjānusaya), no obsession of ignorance (avijjāpariyuṭṭhāna), no fetter of ignorance (avijjāsaññojana), no hindrance of ignorance (avijjānīvaraṇa)?" [Paravādin:] "Yes." [Sakavādin:] "The worldling (puthujjana) has unknowing, yet he has no ignorance, no flood of ignorance, no yoke of ignorance, no latent tendency of ignorance, no obsession of ignorance, no fetter of ignorance, no hindrance of ignorance?" [Paravādin:] "It should not be said thus. …"
