[557] S. Is not the Arahant one devoid of lust (vītarāga), devoid of hatred (vītadosa), … one who has realized what should be realized? P. Yes. S. If the Arahant is devoid of lust, devoid of hatred, … has realized what should be realized, then surely, good sir, it should not be said that "there is guidance by others (paravitāraṇā) for the Arahant."
