[531] S. Is there doubt (kaṅkhā) in an Arahant?
P. Yes.
S. Has not the Arahant's hatred (dosa) been abandoned? … has not his delusion (moha) been abandoned? … has not his lack of moral dread (anottappa) been abandoned? … Has not the path (magga) been developed for the abandonment of lust (rāga)? … have not the factors of awakening (bojjhaṅga) been developed? … for the abandonment of hatred … for the abandonment of lack of moral dread, has not the path been developed? … have not the factors of awakening been developed? … Is not the Arahant devoid of lust, devoid of hatred, … and has he not realized what is to be realized?
P. Yes.
S. If the Arahant is devoid of lust, devoid of hatred, … and has realized what is to be realized, then indeed, good sir, it should not be said, "There is doubt in an Arahant."
