[555] S. Is there guidance by others (paravitāraṇā) for the Arahant? P. Yes. S. Has not the Arahant's lust (rāga) been abandoned, cut off at the root, made like a palm stump, obliterated, so that it is no longer subject to arising in the future? P. Yes. S. If the Arahant's lust has been abandoned, cut off at the root, made like a palm stump, obliterated, so that it is no longer subject to arising in the future, then indeed it should not be said: "There is guidance by others for the Arahant." … S. Has not the Arahant's hatred (dosa) been abandoned … delusion (moha) been abandoned … lack of moral dread (anottappa) been abandoned …
