[472] S. Is there for an Arahant (arahant) the emission of impure semen (asuci-sukka-visaṭṭhi)?
P. Yes.
S. For the Arahant, has not hatred (dosa) been abandoned … has not delusion (moha) been abandoned, conceit (māna) been abandoned, wrong view (diṭṭhi) been abandoned, doubt (vicikicchā) been abandoned, dullness (thīna) been abandoned, restlessness (uddhacca) been abandoned, shamelessness (ahirika) been abandoned … lack of moral dread (anottappa) been abandoned — cut off at the root, made like a palm stump, made non-existent, of a nature not to arise in the future?
P. Yes.
S. If for the Arahant lack of moral dread has been abandoned — cut off at the root, made like a palm stump, made non-existent, of a nature not to arise in the future — then indeed, good sir, it should not be said: "There is for an Arahant the emission of impure semen."
