[915] Sakavādin: Is the Arahant (arahā) endowed with the fruition of stream-entry (sotāpatti-phala)? Paravādin: Yes. Sakavādin: But has not the Arahant passed beyond the fruition of stream-entry? Paravādin: Yes. Sakavādin: If the Arahant has passed beyond the fruition of stream-entry, then indeed, good sir, it should not be said: "The Arahant is endowed with the fruition of stream-entry."
