[917] S: "Is the Arahant (arahā) endowed with the fruition of once-returning (sakadāgāmi-phala)?" P: "Yes." S: "Is it not the case that the Arahant has passed beyond the fruition of once-returning?" P: "Yes." S: "If the Arahant has passed beyond the fruition of once-returning, then indeed, good sir, it should not be said: 'The Arahant is endowed with the fruition of once-returning.'"
