[921] Sakavādin: Is the non-returner (anāgāmī) endowed with the fruition of stream-entry (sotāpatti-phala)? Paravādin: Yes. Sakavādin: But has not the non-returner passed beyond the fruition of stream-entry? Paravādin: Yes. Sakavādin: If the non-returner has passed beyond the fruition of stream-entry, then indeed, good sir, it should not be said that the non-returner is endowed with the fruition of stream-entry.
