[923] "Is the Non-Returner (anāgāmī) endowed with the fruition of once-returning (sakadāgāmiphala)?" "Yes." "But has not the Non-Returner passed beyond the fruition of once-returning?" "Yes." "If the Non-Returner has passed beyond the fruition of once-returning, then indeed, good sir, it should not be said: 'The Non-Returner is endowed with the fruition of once-returning.'"
