Is the person practicing for the realization of arahantship a non-returner (anāgāmī) — one who attains Parinibbāna within the first half of the life-span (antarāparinibbāyī), one who attains Parinibbāna after the first half of the life-span (upahaccaparinibbāyī), one who attains Parinibbāna without exertion (asaṅkhāraparinibbāyī), one who attains Parinibbāna with exertion (sasaṅkhāraparinibbāyī), one bound upstream, going to the Akaniṭṭha realm (uddhaṃsoto akaniṭṭhagāmī)?
