[154] For whom the feeling aggregate (vedanākkhandha) does not arise, will the perception aggregate (saññākkhandha) not arise for that one?
For all those who are passing away, and for those being reborn among the non-percipient beings (asaññasatta), the feeling aggregate does not arise, but it is not the case that the perception aggregate will not arise for them. For those attaining final Nibbāna (parinibbāna), the feeling aggregate does not arise and the perception aggregate will not arise.
Or, for whom the perception aggregate will not arise, does the feeling aggregate not arise for that one?
For those in their final existence (pacchimabhavika) who are being reborn into the five-constituent existence (pañcavokāra), the perception aggregate will not arise, but it is not the case that the feeling aggregate does not arise for them. For those attaining final Nibbāna, the perception aggregate will not arise and the feeling aggregate does not arise.
