[230] For whomever, wherever, the form aggregate (rūpakkhandha) does not arise, does the feeling aggregate (vedanākkhandha) not cease for that one there?
For those passing away from the four-constituent [plane] (catuvokāra) and from the five-constituent [plane] (pañcavokāra), the form aggregate does not arise for them there, but it is not the case that the feeling aggregate does not cease for them there. For those being reborn in the formless [plane] (arūpa) and for those passing away from the non-percipient beings (asaññasattā), the form aggregate does not arise for them there and the feeling aggregate does not cease.
Or, alternatively, for whomever, wherever, the feeling aggregate does not cease, does the form aggregate not arise for that one there?
For those being reborn in the five-constituent [plane] and for those being reborn among the non-percipient beings, the feeling aggregate does not cease for them there, but it is not the case that the form aggregate does not arise for them there. For those being reborn in the formless [plane] and for those passing away from the non-percipient beings, the feeling aggregate does not cease for them there and the form aggregate does not arise.
