[1406] One who does not fully understand the eye faculty (cakkhundriya) — did that one not develop the faculty "I shall come to know the unknown" (anaññātaññassāmītindriya)?
Six persons do not fully understand the eye faculty, but it is not the case that they did not develop the faculty "I shall come to know the unknown"; two persons both do not fully understand the eye faculty and did not develop the faculty "I shall come to know the unknown".
Or rather, one who did not develop the faculty "I shall come to know the unknown" — does that one not fully understand the eye faculty?
